Another day, another dhimmi tried for adultery in Dubai.

British mother and her lover jailed for two months for adultery in Dubai.

It's the same old story.  Woman meets Muslim man and falls in love.  They marry and move to a Muslim country.  Life is beautiful - for a while.  Then things don't work out.  If you are in a civilized country,  all that happens is a divorce.

If you are in a Muslim country, you end up jailed, deported and you lose your kids.  Forever.

When will Western women learn?

A British mother has been sentenced to two months in a Dubai prison after she and her boyfriend were found guilty of adultery - a crime in the ultra-strict Gulf state.

Sally Antia was arrested after her estranged husband Vincent told police she was conducting an affair with Mark Hawkins, a construction manager.

Mr Antia, a 48-year-old pilot, is thought to have informed police about the affair to benefit from laws under which 'wronged' husbands get custody of the children.

Now both Mrs Antia, 44, who has lived in Dubai for 13 years, and her 43-year-old boyfriend will spend the next month in the spartan Al Aweer prison after which they will be deported to Britain.

Under Emirati law, there is very little legal provision for Mrs Antia to get custody of her two girls, aged 11 and 13, who are being looked after by their father in Dubai.

And being convicted of a ' dishonour' crime could wreck her chances completely.

Friends of Mr and Mrs Antia said their marriage had been in trouble for years, but that they had agreed to stay together for the sake of their children.

One friend said: 'They were open about the fact that their relationship was over.

'Vincent was happy for Sally to go out with other people. He knew about it and it wasn't a problem. So everyone was astonished when they heard that he had informed the police on her.'

It is estimated that 46 percent of all women are harassed daily and the fact that 50 percent of the women wear the hijab, and 9 percent wear the niqab?  It don't matter!  Being veiled is not the great protector of female modesty and chasity that our Muslim friends claim it to be.

As night falls over Egypt’s capital, youth gather along the banks of the Nile where a carnivalesque atmosphere prevails.

Tamer and Mido have taken up positions on the railing next to the river. As a group of veiled teenage girls approaches, the duo works in tandem. Tamer removes the girls’ headscarves with his eyes, while sexually nuanced words roll off Mido’s tongue.

"Girls love the attention - it makes them feel attractive," says Mido, an engineering student, as the girls divert their eyes to the pavement and nervously scurry past. "They pretend to be innocent, but it’s just part of the game they play."

Women insist it is no game. They say the amount, and intensity of street-level sexual harassment has increased in the past decade.

The journey home from school or work can require running a gauntlet of gropes and taunts. "I’ve encountered every form of sexual harassment from men on the streets," complains Dina El-Sherbiny, a 31-year-old office administrator. "They ogle, touch, use the filthiest language imaginable."

A study published last year by the Egyptian Centre for Women’s Rights (ECWR) found that 46 percent of the 1,000 women who were surveyed, were harassed on a daily basis.

"The results were a shock for us - this was not the Egyptian hospitality we knew, and it was not compatible with all our ideas about harassment," ECWR chairwoman Nehad Abu El-Komsan told IPS.

She’s in paradise now.’”

Words fail:  Bus full of handicapped students bombed by Pakistani Religion of Peace devotees.

"Ahmad Khan, a nine-year-old who had been on the bus, sat shaking on his mother's lap at the Lady Reading hospital as surgeons tried to save the life of a classmate. He struggled to tell her what had happened to him, throwing up his arms to mimic the explosion, then burst into tears and buried his bandaged head in her arms.

"My child is mentally impaired, but we had hope for him and sent him to school. Now I am even more worried for his future," said his veiled mother, Gul Bibi. "How could any human being do this?"

"In her death statement registered by the police, Saba said, “My mother-in-law grabbed me by hair, while my husband punched and kicked me, making me almost unconscious. When I fell down on the ground and was in a daze, I called for water. But my husband poured a glassful of acid in my mouth.”"

The police are complicit:

"Usman said that the accused were politically influential and pressurizing his family through different tactics to make a compromise with them. Saba’s octogenarian mother Razia Begum told Daily Times that they were often called to the police station in the dead of the night and pressurized to patch things up with the accused."

Here's a new one on me, possums and it's unspeakable.  Honor gang rape.   (It's also Pakistan.  Again.)

"Hamza Lubano had lodged a report at the police station Ubaro under section 354-A, 387-a, 337-F(10 147, 148, 149 of the Pakistan Penal code, FIR 07/2007, stating that a dispute took place between Abdul Sattar and him on a children-related matter, upon which Sattar threatened to violate his honour so that “he could no longer live in society”.

Labano’s relative reportedly kidnapped the daughter of Anwar Khan some time back; and in order to avenge her honour, Anwar Khan and his ten accomplices abducted Nasima, and took her to Sattar’s residence, where ten persons allegedly raped her. The sexual assault by ten persons has also been proved by the medical report."

And it looks like there's still plenty of garden variety Honor killings going on in Pakistan.  Brother kills girl for honour.

"...on Friday morning, Bano (the victim) called home and talked to her mother expressingher desire to return home. The mother agreed. However, as Bano reached home she was beaten up by her father. In the meantime, Bano’s younger brother came and started arguing with her and suddenly he whipped out his handgun, fired a single shot into Bano’s head and killed her.

Afterwards, the police reached the house and conducted legal formalities and lodged a case. Imran, in his statement to the police, said that he had killed his sister because she had eloped with a non-Muslim."

How dare she.

1. Clothing must cover the entire body, only the hands and face may remain visible (According to some Fiqh Schools) .

2. The material must not be so thin that one can see through it.

3. The clothing must hang loose so that the shape/form of the body is not apparent.

4. The female clothing must not resemble the man's clothing.

5. The design of the clothing must not resemble the clothing of the non believing women.  (Editor's note:  No Britney Spears or Madonna lookalikes, ladies!)

6. The design must not consist of bold designs which attract attention.

7. Clothing must not be worn for the sole purpose of gaining reputation or increasing one's status in society.

The reason for this strictness is so that the woman is protected from the lustful gaze of men. She should not attract attention to herself in any way. It is permissible for a man to catch the eye of a woman , however it is haram (unlawful) for a man to look twice as this encourages lustful thoughts.

Islam protects the woman, it is for this reason that Allah gave these laws. In today's society womankind is being exploited, female sexuality is being openly used in advertising, mainly to attract the desires of men and therefore sell the product. Is the woman really free in today's society ? The answer is obviously no, the constant bombardment by the media as to how the ideal woman should look and dress testifies to this.

Islam liberated woman over 1400 years ago. Is it better to dress according to man or God ?

Now, doesn't that leave you feeling - liberated and free?

Honor Killings, loving Aisha and being provoked by the evil wiles of the She-devils.

Time for some more of those good, old fashioned Muslim family values, possums.

Let's start in moderate TURKEY, where the Supreme Court goes easy on honor killings because the families would have faced social estrangement and ostracizing in their community if they HADN'T tried to murder their family members.  Honestly, they really said that. 

In another progressive Muslim country, JORDAN, things are all hunky dory with honor killing, too. How about a slap on the wrist and a brief stint in counseling?  That's probably what two brothers charged with murder of their sister because she was  "free to do what she wants".  This is the 10th honor killing this year and the 2nd brutal murder this month in moderate and forward thinking Jordan. 

And in GREAT BRITAIN, we have a charity suing the police because they didn't do enough to protect honor killing victim, Sabina Akhtar.  This despite the police claim "that they responded swiftly to Ms Akhtar’s concerns, offering support, installing a security alarm in her home and placing a full file before prosecutors."  (the prosecutors gave the perp a slap on the wrist and then released him)  It's interesting to note that the victim's uncle is all for the lawsuit.  There is no word as to why HE did not do anything to help her out when she had been attacked 25 times prior to the killing. 

Also from LONDONISTAN:   What did a judge say to a 35 year old Muslim who decided to act out his Mohammed - Aisha fantasies with a 13 year old runaway?  It was probably all her fault.  The perp got 12 months in jail and if it was up to me the judge would be serving time right next to him.

Today the sentencing judge Recorder David Hatton QC said Khan, of previous good character, fell for the temptation that came his way.  “She, to a significant degree, made advances to you. She is undoubtedly a young girl who is strong minded and has more knowledge of the world than one would normally expect for a young girl of that age,” the judge said.

And what about CANADA, eh?  Lawyers for Hasibullah Sadiqi are trying to deny the honor killing component to the double murder of his sister and fiancee.  This despite his telling friends as far back as 2006 that he wanted to “get rid” them because their engagement "wasn't done traditionally with the involvement of their father." His lawyers don’t deny that their client is responsible but instead claim he was PROVOKED which could reduce a murder charge to manslaughter if certain legal requirements are met.

Afghanistan: ANOTHER girls school gets gassed.

Five young girls slipped briefly into comas and nearly 100 were taken to hospital after a gas attack on their school on Tuesday, the third in a series of such incidents north of Kabul, Afghan officials said.

The early morning mass-poisoning at Qazaaq school was likely the work of Taliban sympathizers hostile to girls' education, the head of security for Kapisa province told Reuters.

"We don't think that the Taliban have done this, but the people who collaborate with and support the Taliban have done this," said Afghan Colonel Sha Agha, who is in charge of security for the second district of Kapisa, where the school is located.  (Ed. note:  Hey Colonel, wake up and smell the poison gas!  It's the freaking Taliban, no matter how you slice it.)

"We have taken security measures to prevent such incidents happening again, and by doing more patrols, I am checking on schools during the night," he added.

The symptoms were the same as those shown by victims of suspected attacks on two girls' schools in nearby Charikar town. One poisoning took place on Monday and another on April 26. Scores of pupils were taken ill in each case.

In the latest attack more than 130 people were affected, with 98 students and 6 teachers admitted to hospital, said doctor and provincial public health head Wahid Rahim. He said five had slipped into comas but all had been revived.

Patients were vomiting, dizzy and some lost consciousness.

"There was a very bad smell in my classroom this morning and the teacher immediately told us to evacuate, but we couldn't walk to get out of the school, we were very weak, sick and dizzy. When I opened my eyes we were in hospital," said 12 year-old Leda.

"I am so sad, what went wrong with our school? I want to study," the sixth-grader said from her hospital bed in a ward of around 20 pale girls, most with drips in their arms.

"We knew about the incident in Charikar, but we didn't think such incidents would happen in our school. Right now we are very scared to continue with our education, to learn," said Aara Gul, 15, waiting for medication.

It's important to note that many refugees are afraid to come forward because of the Taliban sympathisers and spies hiding in plain sight in the refugees camps.  Now, that's abject fear. 

Although, if I was faced with the atrocities this young woman was faced with, I would be pretty freaked out.  Knowing me, I would be babbling like a madwoman and would be instantly discounted as a psycho.

Truth be told, I don't think Mom and Pop American Idol comprehend the brutality of the enemy that we face.  And from the comfort of the La-Z-Boy, they really don't want to know about it.  No thanks.  When does Dancing With the Stars start?

The moonbats OTOH, having no core beliefs or true faith to fall back on, are just afraid to come out and acknowledge pure evil.  In other words, they can't handle the truth.

The horrific discovery was just one example used yesterday by Kulsoom, a 16-year-old Pakistani refugee, to describe life in the Swat Valley under Taleban control. As tens of thousands flood refugee camps to escape fighting between the army and militia, some are cautiously sharing their stories, detailing how extremists ran roughshod over cities and hamlets.

The Taleban's brand of Islamic law proved too harsh for many residents in the relatively conservative region of Pakistan, and it appears to be a major reason large numbers of the displaced support the military's latest offensive in the area.

Kulsoom, who comes from Swat's main city of Mingora, said she quit a housekeeping job that helped support her family because of growing Taleban restrictions on women's movements. She said she was stopped on the street while wearing a regular veil and warned by Taleban fighters to wear an all-encompassing burka instead. Then, there was the sickening moment a few months ago when she found the body of her relative.

"All I could think was that I missed the old days when we were happy," said Kulsoom.  As her mother warned her to not say too much, the young girl first declared: "I'm not scared of them!" then later begged that details about her be limited.

Say what? The father of Pakistan's nukes lectures us on tolerance?

Cutting off noses, throwing acid on women, honour killings, whipping in public etc are horrible events that send chills down our spines. Just in the last three months, 72 people, mostly women, have been burnt alive!

Given what is happening in our country at this time, I would like to deliberate here on the Islamic values of tolerance and forgiveness. In simple words, tolerance is the ability, willingness and capacity to put up with something with which one disagrees, or which one dislikes, without interfering or attempting to forcibly change it. This does not mean we should not attempt trying to change things that are wrong. It simply means attempting to bring about that change without violence and keeping in mind that other people's ideas may be different to ours. Compromise plays a large role in tolerance. Forgiveness is simply excusing an offence/mistake and avoiding venting anger towards the person/institution causing the event. Since these two virtues are cardinal principles in Islam that seem to have totally vanished from society, I feel that they should be elaborated upon.

Not a day goes by in which newspapers are not full of horrible stories and we are confronted with gory scenes on TV. What you read and/or see is often perpetrated in the name of Islam. Cutting off noses, throwing acid on women, honour killings, whipping in public etc are horrible events that send chills down our spines. Just in the last three months, 72 people, mostly women, have been burnt alive! These are despicable crimes that need condemnation. All these acts are carried out by those who claim to be Muslims, while in actual fact they are neither good Muslims, nor should they be pardoned. The Holy Quran is full of warnings and instructions from Allah to desist from wrongdoing and to show love and affection towards others. For example: "Think not that Allah does not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but gives them respite against a Day when their eyes will fixedly stare in horror". (Surah Ibrahim) "No doubt that the chastisement of Allah is very severe and painful and Allah knows all wrong-doers. Allah's curse is on them and a permanent punishment". (Surah Tauba)

Islam has put a lot of emphasis on love, affection, tolerance and forgiveness.  (Editor's note:  not really)  In the Holy Quran and in the sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) there is an abundance of such instructions and advice. This behaviour does not depend upon our free will, but is an edict of Islam – i.e. it is intrinsic in the behaviour of a true Muslim. Here are some relevant Ahadiths.

"A couple of years ago, Ayaan Hirsi Ali was having dinner at our house in Holland and we decided to watch a comedy show on TV. I believe the reason was that Wouter Bos, the leader of the Dutch Social Democrats and a colleague of Ayaan’s in parliament, was scheduled to appear on that show.

The program featured stand-up comedians discussing the news, together with the well-known guest. And because Ayaan was an ongoing topic in Holland, they started talking about her. One of the comedians remarked: “Ayaan, she doesn’t have a clitoris, does she?”

The audience laughed. And Wouter Bos, the leader of one of the established political parties and one of the pillars of modern Dutch society, laughed along with the crowd.

Ayaan couldn’t breathe. Shocked, we stared at the screen. Was it possible we hadn’t heard it correctly? How was it possible that a human being, who had been tortured as a child by being forced to undergo genital mutilation, could become an object of laughter and derision by adult men on national television?

I didn’t care for the comedians — sick minds possessing the intuition of obsessed adolescents. I cared for Wouter Bos, an intelligent, sensitive man, who didn’t have the courage to protect ordinary decency and demand that this remark be cut from the taped show.

Three days later one of the main Dutch newspapers published an op-ed piece my wife and I had written about Wouter Bos’ cowardly behavior. Other voices were heard criticizing my wife and me for our effort to “silence” a funny comedian.

Wanda Sykes’ recent performance reminded me of this impressive example of Dutch tolerance..."

This is what appeasement looks like.  This is when I get that big 1939 deja vu all over again vibe.

Dutch journalist: She was held hostage AND raped repeatedly

That's all?  Oh thank goodness, for a moment there I thought she was WATERBOARDED/tortured/played Marco Polo in the hotel pool! (do I really need a sarc tag here?)

Sick bastards.

The journalist, Joanie de Rijke (43), was held hostage by the Taliban for six days in November 2008 and was released after a 137,000-dollar ransom was paid.

In a new book, In the hands of the Taliban, De Rijke describes how she was repeatedly raped by Taliban commander Ghazi Gul. Gul was later killed in a bombardment.

De Rijke, who is Dutch but lives in Belgium, was on assignment in Afghanistan for the Belgian weekly P-Magazine. She wanted to talk to the group of Taliban fighters who had ambushed and killed ten French paratroopers in August 2008. But when she made contact with the group, they took her and her Afghan interpreter hostage instead.  The ransom was paid by the magazine and colleagues of De Rijke after both the Dutch and Belgian governments refused to pay.

P.S.  As a natural blonde, I feel quite entitled to say that her blonde hair rays must have driven Ghazi Gul mad.  You know it's true.
