Auntie Z? I'm talking to you, girl.
This is so good, it's too good to check. I share it in the hopes it will go viral.
via Zero Hedge:
Amen, sister. The following was received via email. Supposedly it appeared in the Waco Tribune. We don’t know the author, but we assume those interested could look her up. Since the Constitution no longer matters, we assume we can make her President, even though she doesn’t meet the (formerly valid) age restriction.
This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it. It’s her future she’s worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big government state that she’s being forced to live in! These solutions are just common sense in her opinion. This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco , TX , Nov 18, 2011
Put Me In Charge...
Put me in charge of food stamps. I’d get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho’s, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.
Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I’d do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.
Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home” will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.
In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a “government” job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”
Before you write that I’ve violated someone’s rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be “demeaning” and ruin their “self esteem,” consider that it wasn’t that long ago that taking someone else’s money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.
If we are expected to pay for other people’s mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.
AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Inky-Dinky Parlay Voo We are Screwed.
Tip offs: "economic divides and social injustice"
via France 24:
France’s Esther Duflo, a world renowned economist, has been nominated by US President Barack Obama to join a government body dedicated to advising the administration on global development policy.
Called the Global Development Council, the group was founded by Obama in 2010 to help shape US development efforts abroad.
While Duflo’s nomination will likely be viewed with a sense of pride in France, it comes as Obama’s leadership continues to be dogged by unflattering comparisons in the media to European-style socialism.
...
Duflo, who was raised in a “left-leaning Protestant” family, said she became aware of economic divides and social injustice at a very early age.
“I was always conscientious of the gap between my existence and that of the world’s poor,” she told weekly French magazine l’Express in a January, 2011 article. “As a child, I was extremely troubled by the complete randomness of chance that I was born in Paris to an intellectual, middle class family, when I could have just as easily been born in Chad. It’s a question of luck. It inspired in me a sense of responsibility.”

Ole! Happy New Dictatorship from Rep. Jose Serrano!
I used to pooh-pooh all those tin-foil hat whispers about the Constitution being amended to allow President Barack Hussein Obama to become PRESIDENT FOR LIFE.
Then today, I saw this.
WTF?

5 stitution of the United States is hereby repealed.’’.
I calmed down a bit after checking out the Congressman's Facebook page - evidently this is nothing new for him. He's been trying to lay the foundation for a dictatorship in this country since 1997.
Seems to me if anyone needs term limited out - it's Rep. Serrano.
In 1990, Serrano won a special election for the seat vacated by resigning U.S. Congressman Robert García with 92% of the vote.[3] He has never won re-election with less than 92% of the vote,[4][5] in what is considered one of the safest seats in Congress.
What did I tell you? Looks like the congressman is a huge Hugo Chavez butt-boy:
Serrano was a critic of the Bush administration's approach to handling President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela. In 2005, while the Venezuelan President was in New York City speaking before the United Nations, the congressman invited him to his district to speak to his constituency.

The grieving family of gang rape victim, Jyoti Singh Pandey.
And rightly so.
via the Mirror UK:
She is known to the world only as India’s Daughter following her sickening gang rape and murder.
But today, with permission of her devastated father, we can reveal her name: Jyoti Singh Pandey.
Brave dad Badri, 53, told The Sunday People: “We want the world to know her real name.
“My daughter didn’t do anything wrong, she died while protecting herself.
“I am proud of her. Revealing her name will give courage to other women who have survived these attacks. They will find strength from my daughter.”
We interviewed Badri and his family in his ancestral village of Billia in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
They have retreated there to grieve away from their Delhi home – a place that will constantly remind them of the barbaric sexual attack Jyoti, 23, was subjected to when she and a male friend were lured on to a bus.
...
Badri said: “At first I wanted to see the men responsible face to face but I don’t want to any more. I just want to hear that the courts have punished them and they will be hanged.
“Death for all six of them. These men are beasts. They should be made an example of and that society will not allow such things to happen.”
The five adults accused of the heinous attack will appear in court on Monday. The juvenile will remain in the juvenile court system - although IMHO he should also be charged as an adult - given that the most vile and violent attacks were reportedly committed by him.
Indian Gang Rape Perps - Show their faces!
About the beasts who committed the attack. Let's name them, too:
via China.org:
Metropolitan Magistrate Namrita Aggarwal issued a production warrant against the five accused for Monday, Jan 7.
He told the media: "I have perused the entire charge-sheet, medical report, statements of victims, and other documents... I take cognizance of the charge-sheet. All the accused summoned. Issue production warrant against all the accused for Jan. 7."
Police filed the charge-sheet against the five accused Thursday, accusing the five accused of murder, rape, kidnapping, destruction of evident, dacoity, unnatural attack and some other offenses.
The accused - bus driver Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh, fruit seller Pawan Gupta, gym instructor Vinay Sharma and bus cleaner Akshay Thakur - are kept in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
The sixth of the rape is said to be a juvenile and will be brought to a juvenile justice court separately.
All six are held responsible for the death of the 23-year-old woman who was gang raped, beaten and mutilated on a moving bus for half an hour on Dec. 16 in south Delhi.
About the juvenile? His name is reported to be Mohammad "Raju" Afroz and on Monday he will also appear in court. Juvenile court - and unless changes are made to the law he could walk free in several months.
via the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti:
The sixth accused — alleged to be the most brutal of the lot — has been left out of the chargesheet. According to some reports, he will attain majority in five months.
Under the present law, the juvenile could be free in a few months, even if he gets the maximum three-year sentence. If he is held guilty after turning 18, he can't be kept in a correction home. But a juvenile who has turned 18 can't be transferred to jail since the law does not allow those tried under the Juvenile Justice Act to be kept in a jail meant for adults.
Mohammad? Imagine that. When I first heard that the rapists wanted to teach the victim a lesson I wondered if they were part of the Muslim He-Man Woman Haters Club. Unfortunately, given the fact that this occurred in India it could also be members of the Hindu He-Man Woman Haters Club. So all bets are off on that score because rape is part of a pattern for Hindus, too:
It seems, Ram Singh, the Delhi bus gang rapist and Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Vijayvargiya both believe that rapes are a punishment for Indian women who anger rapists (by not being submissive, and doing as they are told, or by crossing their ‘limits’ or Lakshman rekhas etc).
The rapist Ram Singh was angered into teaching the Delhi bus gang rape victim a lesson, for crossing her lakshman rekha by being with a male friend in a public space, and then for fighting back.
The Guwahati molesters too accused their victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and blamed the victim, too.
“…we were let go, with a final long lecture on what an immoral whore I was to be alone with a boy. That infuriated them more than anything. They acted the whole time as if they were doing me a favour, teaching me a lesson. Theirs was the most fanatical kind of self righteousness.”

Malala leaves the hospital for her new home in the UK.
In case you haven't heard, Malala Yousafzai was discharged from Queen Elizabeth's hospital in Birmingham on January 4. The good news is, her family will be staying in the UK.
The bad news is - she's still not safe.
According to this goat-fornicator the head of the Taliban's so-called 'Foreign Legion', the Pakistani schoolgirl still has a price on her head for going on a "crusade against Islam".
Crusade this, buddy.
via The Mirror UK:
THE head of the Taliban’s “foreign legion” which handles European terror cells has ordered fanatics to kill the schoolgirl shot in the head for fighting for women’s education.
In a 28-minute online rant, spiritual leader Abu Dharr Azzam issued a fatwa against Malala Yousufzai claiming she had gone on a “crusade against Islam”.
The move will heighten concerns for the safety of the 15-year-old – recovering in a secret location in the UK after being released from hospital on Friday.
Azzam specialises in preaching to EU recruits fighting alongside terrorists – a 2011 video showed him lecturing a group which included two Germans.
Malala, meanwhile, is set to be awarded the US Congressional Gold Medal for services to education, justice and equality.

And you might want to hold off on thinking that Depardieu is such a grand capitalist after he told the French Socialists and their 75% tax rate to shove it.
It looks like he is truly the Russian version of David Hasselhoff and it turns out he is big buddies with notorious human rights violator and Chechen's Muslim strong man, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Just sayin'.
via Emirates 24:
Russian President Vladimir Putin granted citizenship on Thursday to Gerard Depardieu after the disgruntled French movie star said he was quitting his homeland to avoid paying a new millionaires' tax.
The decision appears to give Depardieu -- a frequent guest of the Moscow celebrity circuit who nonetheless never asked for nationality -- the right to pay the 13 percent tax levied in Russia on everyone from tycoons to the poor.
"Vladimir Putin has signed a decree granting Russian citizenship to France's Gerard Depardieu," the Kremlin said in a statement.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Depardieu was being rewarded "for his contribution to Russian culture and cinema."
But the announcement looked more like a jab at the West by Putin -- keen to show off Russia's more business-friendly approach to taxes -- than an actual effort to lure one of the world's biggest celebrities to Moscow. (Editor's note: Huh? "one of the world's biggest celebrities"?)
French government spokeswoman Najat Vallaud-Belkacem said the decision was the "exclusive prerogative of the Russian head of state" and did not merit further comment.
...
Putin at his end-of-year press conference in December surprised many by saying he was ready to offer the 64-year-old cinema veteran a Russian passport to resolve the row. "If Gerard really wants to have a residency permit in Russia or a Russian passport, we can consider this issue resolved positively," Putin said at the time.
Putin added that the French premier's famous remark about Depardieu being "pathetic" for threatening to leave the country had hurt the star's feelings and may eventually force him to move.
"An artist is easy to offend," Putin remarked.
The hulking actor has been a huge star in Russia since the Soviet era and still enjoys cult status among many movie buffs. France was seen by the USSR as one of Europe's friendlier countries with natural socialist leanings -- a status that made its movies a staple of Soviet silver screens.
Depardieu has since grown into a frequent jury member of the glitzy Moscow and Sochi film festivals. His straw hair and rugged features have even featured in local television advertisements ranging from kitchen furniture from the central city of Saratov to a brand of ketchup called Baltimore. And a picture of a smiling Depardieu giving the thumbs up sign still graces the home page of a small Russian bank called Sovetsky (The Soviet).
The charismatic Frenchman was most recently granted the honour of being personally asked to emigrate to Russia by the iron-fisted leader of Chechnya, the scene of two post-Soviet wars that killed tens of thousands.
"I can say for sure that we are ready to welcome the great artist," Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said a day before Putin's first remarks on the subject.
Depardieu this year made a peculiar visit to Chechnya to attend the birthday of Kadyrov, a ruler accused of torture and other violent crimes by international rights groups.
A video of that celebration showed Depardieu at one stage shouting in Russian: "Glory to Grozny! Glory to Chechnya! Glory to Kadyrov!"
Depardieu will qualify for the 13-per cent tax rate if he spends at least six months out of the year in Russia.
The annual tax rate will go up to 30 per cent on all income made locally and in other countries if he spends more than half the year abroad.
"People in the West do not know the details of our tax system," senior cabinet member Dmitry Rogozin tweeted on Thursday.
"But when they find out, we should expect a mass migration of rich European to Russia," Rogozin said.

Evidently strapping on a bomb and taking out innocents with you is still a legitimate reason to harm oneself though in the religion of peace.
Go figure.
via Emirates 24/7:
A prominent Saudi Islamic scholar was reported on Wednesday as saying wrestling and other dangerous games are prohibited in Islam because they harm the body.
Sheikh Ali Al Hikmi, a member of the 7-man Supreme Scholars Authority in the Gulf Kingdom, said Muslims are not permitted to hurt themselves under any circumstances.
“Therefore, dangerous games such as wrestling and other fighting duels are not permitted in Islam since they cause unnecessary harm to oneself and the opponent,” he was quoted as saying by the Arabic language daily Alhayat.
“It is not permissible for a Muslim to hurt oneself in one way or another…dangerous games like wrestling and other fighting duels could lead to impairment or harm in the brain or the body….therefore, it is prohibited to practice such games.”
He said that God has forbidden Muslims and others from hurting themselves without what he described as a legitimate reason.
“Fighting games could lead to serious fractures or in some cases, to concussion, to those involved in such games because of the blows the opponent might receive on the head with the aim of hurting the opponent and winning the game.”

Lifestyles of the Rich and Heinous - Osama's Abbotabad Pied a Terre
Slow-walking and disappearing inconvenient truths. It's not just for the Holder Justice Department anymore.
via the Bangkok Post:
Pakistan judicial commission submitted findings Thursday from its investigation into how Osama bin Laden lived in the country undetected for years until his killing by US special forces, officials said, but the report might never be revealed.
The commission was appointed 18 months ago, in what was welcomed as a chance to get to the bottom of one of the most embarrassing episodes in Pakistani history, but its findings could remain classified.
The Pakistani government set up the five-member panel after US Navy SEALs conducted a secret raid on a compound in the garrison city of Abbottabad on May 2, 2011, killing bin Laden without informing Islamabad until afterwards.
Parliament demanded an independent investigation into how bin Laden had been able to hide and whether there was any government or military collusion.
The commission's chairman, retired judge Javed Iqbal, submitted the report to Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Thursday, a statement from Ashraf's office said.
Pakistani officials say Ashraf will decide whether to keep the report classified or make it public, but observers have said they expect little of substance to be revealed.
The commission interviewed senior civilian and military officials and the three widows of bin Laden before they were deported to Saudi Arabia in April last year.

Looks like Paki warlord and Haqqani network butt-boy, Mullah Nazir, won't be down for breakfast in the morning...
Bingo!US drone strikes killed a Pakistani warlord who sent men to fight Nato troops in Afghanistan, in raids in northwest Pakistan that also killed nine other fighters, Pakistani security officials said yesterday.
Mullah Nazir was the main militant commander in South Waziristan, part of Pakistan's tribal belt where the Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked militants have bases. He is the highest profile casualty in a drone strike for some time.
Pakistani officials said he was killed when a US drone fired two missiles at his vehicle in the Sar Kanda area of Birmil in South Waziristan, and that five of his loyalists, including two senior deputies, were also killed.
"Mullah Nazir and five associates died on the spot," one of the officials said.
The official said the attack happened on Wednesday night but that it took time to confirm the reports from such a far-flung and mountainous area along the Afghan border.
...
Nazir was also understood to be close to the al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani network, a faction of the Afghan Taliban blamed for some of the most high-profile attacks in Afghanistan and the capital Kabul in recent years.
"The Americans and Afghans suspected Mullah Nazir of sheltering and hosting Arab al-Qaeda operatives," said Pakistani author and analyst Imtiaz Gul.
One Pakistani security official said Nazir and his fighters were targeted as they prepared to swap vehicles when their pick-up vehicle had a mechanical fault. Two of his influential deputies, Atta Ullah and Rafey Khan, were among those killed, the official said.
In the neighbouring district of North Waziristan, another US drone strike killed four militants yesterday, officials said.
