Cue the violins!

Prepare yourself for the Islam-o-pity party.

The Mehanna media campaign is in full swing.

I found this post at Freedetainees.org where the claim is made that Tarek was not only blackmailed by the FBI, he was also set up by them for not becoming 'a tool to corroborate any FBI claims or accusations against members of the community that might arise'. 

Yes.  The noble Tarek 'refused to backstab his Muslim brothers and sisters' so the evil FBI moved in and trapped him.

Wah!  The injustice!  The inhumanity! 

You know - if you just stumbled upon freedetainees.org and had NOT read this you might just go along with their scenario wouldn't you?

It looks like plenty of people are doing just that.  There's a Free Tarek petition you can sign (1185 signatures at present).

The FreeTarek.com site is where I also found the video below.  Entitled 'Tarek Mehanna's playful cat' - it is actually Tarek tormenting his cat with a laser pointer.  It sure cracks him up, that's for sure.  (To  me, it's borderline animal abuse.)

2 men linked to Luqman Abdullah Ameen arrested in Canada.

The FBI says Mohammad Philistine and Yassir Ali Khan were taken into custody about 8 a.m. Saturday in the Windsor area, across the border from Detroit. Both have ties there.

They were the last of 11 men sought in a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in federal court in Detroit. The main charge is conspiracy to sell stolen goods

Wife tries to slit husband's throat because he made her eat pork...

That's right.  (And if your first thought was 'Muslim' then you thought right.  Bet you didn't think it happened on Staten Island, though.)

A soft-spoken and sedate Staten Island Muslim woman tried to slit her husband’s throat as he lay sleeping in the middle of the night.

Rabia Sarwar, 37, was enraged that her husband Sheikh Naseem, 41, asked her to eat pork and to wear non-Islamic attire, officials said.

“It’s time for you to die!” the Muslim woman screamed as she pounced on hubby and hacked at his neck with a butcher knife, sources said.

Clinic to Muslim Doctor - It's Policy bars Headscarves.

The set-up:

A Muslim doctor interviewing for a job at a suburban Dallas medical clinic says officials there told her she couldn't wear her headscarf in the workplace.Dr. Hena Zaki of Plano, Texas, said Friday that she was shocked when CareNow officials told her that a no-hat policy extended to her hijab.

Dinah's rebuttal:

I was a nurse at a Catholic hospital back in the 70's.  The working nun/nurses did not wear the traditional habit then.  They don't wear them now.

These dirty habits/schmattas/hijabs that the 7th century throwbacks are caterwauling about as being their civil right are nothing but microbe traps - that’s why you don’t see nursing caps these days either.

I loved my nursing cap - or helmet as I called it, and was proud to wear it.  But after it fell off into a pile of shi& as I bent under a Circo-Electric bed to clean up an involuntary bowel movement by a poor quadriplegic patient, well, even I had to admit that hospital officials might have a point about the sanitation issue.

CAIR's involvement:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations calls CareNow's policy ''a blatant violation'' of federal law.

Justice Roberts, if you are reading this - I beg of you to make a ruling once and for all.  (And please rule on the side of modernity and sanitation.)

Well, well, well. Does CAIR have links to the Detroit terror group just raided by the FBI?

It appears that they most certainly do.

It's juicy.  It's long.  It's meticulously sourced.  Here's a few tidbits to chew on.

Already under increased scrutiny after revelations in a new book, the Council on American-Islamic Relations now is defending itself against documented links to a federal case that drew national attention this week when an indicted Detroit imam was killed in an FBI raid.

Internal documents from an undercover investigation by the authors of "Muslim Mafia" show CAIR helped finance the legal appeal of Muslim cop-killer Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, who is named in the Detroit criminal complaint as the spiritual leader of a radical group that calls for violent action to establish a sovereign Islamic state within the U.S.

The federal complaint also states one of the 11 indicted followers of the imam who was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the FBI Wednesday, Luqman Ameen Abdullah, attended a mosque "affiliated with CAIR" in Windsor, Ontario, just across the Canadian border from Detroit.

Why, CAIR even got a nice thank you note from the imam's wifey:

The letter of thanks addressed by the cop-killer's lawyer-wife to CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, which indicated CAIR had made previous contributions, passed on "greetings" from the imprisoned imam.

Attorney Karima Al-Amin wrote:

On behalf of the Justice Fund, we extend appreciation to you and CAIR for the additional contribution of $9,000.00 to be used for legal expenses relative to Imam Jamil Al-Amin's case. The FBI agent says that when Abdullah's mosque was evicted from its previous location in Detroit, a search turned up empty shell casings and large holes in the concrete wall of an indoor "shooting range."

Don't try and tell me Noor's father didn't know exactly what he was doing.  This was no stunned and temporarily insane man fleeing in panic.  This man had a plan to get out of the country and he followed it.

After the hit and run, Peoria Police Department Spokesperson Jay Davies said Almaleki drove his vehicle to Mexico and abandoned it in Nogales where officials there later located and seized it. 

Almaleki then made his way to Mexico City, where he reportedly boarded a plane to London. 
Upon his arrival in London, UK Port of Entry authorities denied him entry into the country, according to Davies. 

The UK contacted US authorities and Almaleki was placed on a plane back to the US and arrested Thursday afternoon upon his arrival in Atlanta.  He currently awaits extradition to Arizona.

Agencies involved included the US Marshalls Office, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the FBI, Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), officials in the United Kingdom, and officials from the Nogales and Sonora, Mexico Police.

Heartbreak: 

"Noor Almaleki suffered life threatening injuries and remains unresponsive as of Thursday. Amal Khalaf suffered serious physical injuries and remains in serious, but stable condition."

Afghanistan: Fraud surrounds women voters.

Women (we think) lining up at their local polling place to cast their votes on August 20.     --->

From the AP:

One man cast 35 votes for female relatives. Others lugged in sacks full of voting cards they said were from women. And in a village of just 250 people, 200 women supposedly voted in three hours.

In Afghanistan's recent presidential election in August, one of the ripest areas for fraud was women's voting. And the same is likely to be true again in the Nov. 7 runoff between President Hamid Karzai and former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah.

Yet the problems of fraud related to women's voting cannot be changed in a few weeks. There's widespread acceptance of proxy voting by male relatives. Many women are reluctant to vote given threats of violence and polling centers swarming with men. And those who do cast ballots are usually uneducated and therefore more easily manipulated.  (ed. note: To say nothing of the a$$-whupping they get if they don't obey.)

It's unclear how large an impact fraud involving women voters had on the results because Afghan election officials have not released the list of women's polling stations. But many observers have said that women's polling stations were more problematic than men's.

Heartbreak: Dog killed in Muslim terror raid to be memorialized.

His name was Freddy.

The FBI will hold a memorial for the K-9 killed during a shootout in Dearborn and the dog's name will be added to a memorial wall.  

Freddy was a nearly 3-year-old Belgian Malinois who was killed Wednesday during a gun battle between agents and Luqman Ameen Abdullah, described as the radical leader of a Sunni Islam group.

"In the line of duty, Freddy gave his life for his team.  He will be missed by his FBI family," the FBI said in a statement. 

Freddy will be buried in Quantico, Va.
