That's what they are reporting in the Jakarta Globe...
So let me get this straight. Instead of being called Noordin Top - he should have been called Noordin Bottom?
He so pretty. ---->
“There is an anomaly in Noordin’s anus because it is shaped like a funnel,” said Mun’im Idris, a forensic pathologist from the University of Indonesia. “It indicated that somebody had sodomized him.” (ed. note: And given the fact that it was funnel shaped it looks like it must have been a road well-traveled.)
Badaruddin Ismail, a spokesman for Noordin’s family in Malaysia, told the Jakarta Globe that he accepted the allegation but insisted it remained unclear as to when the sodomy took place when he was a child or as an adult. “I don’t know about his private life so I cannot comment more,” he said.
Other media outlets that carried the story on Wednesday, speculated on Noordin’s “sexual deviance” because of the anomaly. Homosexuality, though not against the law in the country, remain unacceptable among the nation’s mainstream religious communities.
The comments from Mun’im are likely to spark anger among some extremist members of the Muslim community that supported Noordin and his supporters.
Heh. I wonder if the new (Muslim) UN President has any comment? He has already created a stir with his remarks at a UN press conference yesterday with this:
The newly-installed president of the United Nations General Assembly, Ali Abdussalam Treki, has said that homosexuality is "not really acceptable".
Treki, who is the Libyan secretary of African Union Affairs, opened the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly Friday with a press conference.
One question concerned the UN resolution which calls for the universal decriminalisation of homosexuality.
In reply, Treki said: "That matter is very sensitive, very touchy. As a Muslim, I am not in favour of it . . . it is not accepted by the majority of countries. My opinion is not in favour of this matter at all. I think it's not really acceptable by our religion, our tradition.
“It is not acceptable in the majority of the world. And there are some countries that allow that, thinking it is a kind of democracy . . . I think it is not,” he added.
I wonder if Mr. Noordin M Top had a date with Roman Polanski when he was 13-years old?
"A road well Traveled"......."The Hershey Highway"!
What a hoot.
