That's what Andy McCarthy is reporting over at National Review.
The Obama administration has notified Congress of the State
Department's intention to contribute $400,000 to foundations run by
Muammar Qaddafi's two children — $200,000 each for daughter Aisha and
son Saif. Saif, you may recall, is the son who escorted the Lockerbie
terrorist Abdel Baset al-Megrahi home to a hero's welcome in Libya
after President Obama sternly "warned" Qaddafi that there was to be no hero's welcome.
Illinois Representative Mark Kirk is asking President Obama to withdraw the grants. We'll see how far he gets...
About Aisha/Ayesha: She was a member of Saddam Hussein's defense team and her charity group Wa Attassimou defended Iraqi shoe thrower, Muntadhar al-Zaidi.
Oh, and she married her dad's cousin.
