"Yet Ahmadinejad also said his country is ready to shake all hands "that are honestly extended to us," and he announced Iran's commitment to participate in building durable peace and security worldwide for all nations while defending the country's legitimate and legal rights."
I watched Ahmadinejad's speech to the UN this evening and thought he was playing to the crowd back home more than anything else. Of course, there was the usual denunciation of every Western value known to mankind and he even worked the Mahdi into his spiel. Panties be upon him. Israel is the evil Zionist force dominating the world and capitalism is dead. New world order. Blah-blah-blah.
By this time in his rant, there were a steady stream of diplos making for the exit and it definitely looked like it had been orchestrated. (Update: a complete list of the walkouts can be found here.)
Mahmoud plowed on through what seemed an interminable number of pages of stationery sized notes in contrast to that wacky mess Gaddafi spoke from. Phew.
You won't find footage of this anywhere on the web but if you watched it live you noticed that the Persian Pipsqueak refused to shake the hand of the female conducting the traditional greeting after his speech. He gave her a half bow. She just bowed and bowed and bowed, putting her hands together in a prayerful attitude - or as close as a prayerful attitude that a marxist moonbat can assume - and basically acted like a goofy bi*&^. (Someone had to say it.)
You can bet if it was me up there I would have grabbed his tiny hand and given it a good old country girl squeeze before he knew what was happening. I'm thinking I could bring him to his knees. Man, that would have been so great.
I find it interesting that the Brazilians have not only taken to harboring fugitives in the Honduras, they are also showing every sign of being Mahmoud's South American houseboy.
I hope there are special places in hell for people like Oliver Stone and that Big Doofus.
And finally, as your bonus for reading along thus far: Despot Housewives.
