Schwenkler was paid $500 in November 2008 to walk door to door in support of Democrat Mollie Cullom, a candidate for the state House from Centennial.
This payment came from the Colorado Citizens' Coalition discussed here and here.
The Colorado Republican party is calling on his counterpart in the Colorado Democratic Party for an apology. You remember what Pat Waak was saying yesterday:
"What I've been saying is there is a lot of rhetoric out there from both sides of the spectrum," Waak said. "That's what's been disturbing to me. People are saying a lot of things not appropriate for civil discourse."
Oh, and it has been determined that the second suspect REMAINS at large. Hmmm. I wonder if Benjamin Yager is anywhere to be found? He was the person responsible for broadcasting the fact that Ariel/Maurice Schwenkler was in the can and was actively soliciting contributions for her/his bail. Sounds to me like he's a pretty close bud.
I knew when the uproar over ObamaKare began that the left would pull some stunt and try to blame it on "the mob."
